Summary
Even though I become a side character, I’m being adored by an overprotective duke
I was reincarnated as a Side Character from an Otome Game and my fiancé is a handsome Duke. I’ve been transmigrated as “Leticia”, a side character from an Otome Game. I was then forced to take Lionel as my fiancé by my twin sister (who by the way, has the worst personality). The first time Leticia met Lionel, he was nothing but chubby and fat, just as the rumours said he’d be… However, me being me, I realised that Lionel is an unpolished gem with potential to shine, so I decided to re-invent him. Even if I’m a Side Character, my days of doting on my fiancé began when my fiancé transformed both inside and out.

I really adore the artstyle(◍•ᴗ•◍)✧*。
Quicksilver Witch
An incredibly sweet isekai that demonstrates characters reflecting on their actions in a way that shows both insecurity and confidence, as well as the potential for change and growth.

I really enjoy this manhwa. I’ve currently read up to ch. 20. and the story is very sweet. the ml and fl love each other a lot and it always warms my heart seeing how much they care for each other the are side relationships that are also very fun to read. it isn’t very drama filled which i enjoy. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a read to lift their mood.
it can feel very slow and uneventful at times due to the fact that most problems that arrive tend to be dealt with pretty quickly and it can feel like there aren’t any big overarching problems propelling the plot forward
overall i’d rate it a 8/10 due to the fact that i enjoy these kind of stories. I cannot wait to see what happens next

The plot started off really strong and cute between the leads and I loved where it was seemingly going, but as it progressed, it started to feel like the writer didn’t even know where they were going with it; didn’t have a strong plot mapped out. The storyline began to feel generic & repetitive with the same unoriginal, short-lived dramas/ conflicts on repeat.
If stories with an overly simplistic, cliche, fairy tale-like plot are what you’re into, this story is what you’re looking for! (I mean that genuinely). It’s very light-hearted, but it’s so light-hearted to the point it just feels shallow and boring for me. I haven’t been into that kind of trope since middle school, so it doesn’t excite me and gets boring real fast, no matter how pure or warmhearted the characters are. There’s no unique chemistry between the characters, just typical, cliche, run-of-the-mill dialogue. Everyone has the same personality. I guess you could say I like characters with more depth and plot originality? Sorry if this sounded harsh, but it’s my honest opinions. I feel like I definitely would’ve been head over heels for this sort of plot when I was in middle school, but now it feels kinda shallow and like it’s aimed at a younger audience.
It’s like comparing it to a tv drama that airs daily vs. weekly. It’s comfortable but it doesn’t particularly excite or keep you on the edge of your seat for when the next chapters gonna drop. I could take a several month break and not have the urge to know what I’ve missed, but it’s always there for when it fits your mood.
