Summary
After dying in an accident, she was reincarnated in an otome game. …As a Crow! I can’t believe that I am a crow! Not an extra character, but a crow! When I was looking for a person around me… The first person who appeared was the Crown Prince.
“How could you be so lovely, Reinel?”
“Cawk Cawk, Cawk! (Take me with you and raise me!)”
The Crown Prince, Kamut, gave me a name and treated me with love. I’m just a crow anyway, there’d be no problem if I liked him or if my heart fluttered for him. There was no problem until…
“Hello, Reinel?”
“What is happening to me all of a sudden?”

Would you marry your pet bird if it became a human? For this manhwa, the answer is yes.
TLDR: Art is so-so, premise is actually interesting, romance is bizarre and forced and takes away from what could’ve been a promising concept.
The art is tolerable. Not bad, but not amazing. I say this as an artist but the way the hair is shaded/drawn is… ehh. And the facial proportions are a little off-putting. It felt like a jumpscare the first time the FL turned into a human. Anatomy isn’t actually all that bad, it’s mostly the face and the hair that’s jarring, especially with the same-face syndrome going on. (FL drools over a mage that’s supposedly more handsome than the ML… but their faces are the exact same sans the hairstyle and their hair/eye color.)
The concept was promising, but swiftly dragged down by forced romance. For comparison, imagine your pet turns into a human. This is a pet that you’ve only had for like a few weeks at best. Do you…
a). Help it get adjusted to human life
b). idk take care of it or something
Or c). have such devotion to it to the point that you imply you’d even marry it and also explicitly suggest that you would become its mate if it were lonely?
Bizarre. F’ing bizzare is all I can say about it. The marriage implication is shown with a panel of the FL’s silhouette with a veil over her head, and yes, according to the translation, he would literally be her “mate” if need be. Oh, and the other characters are chill with it too. In fact, a character implies that ML is jealous of FL talking to other birds (yes, literally) and suggests that he take down said birds because they’re… love rivals. Uh huh. Moving on!
The time in which the FL was a full-fledged bird was actually quite sweet and cute. Author said f that though, we need the genre-mandatory romance and immediately made her human and also revealed it to others just as quickly. Feels fast-paced in my opinion. (I don’t remember which chapter she specifically magical girl’ed into a human, but I’m 33 chapters in and the ML’s circle is already aware and everything. Thanks, OP imperial head mage.)
Anyway, I’m dropping this because the romance spoiled it for me. The only redeeming thing about said romance is that there isn’t any weird age gaps as most isekai’s tend to have (like “oh nooo i’m a child but i have the mind of an adult!1!1 i will now ignore the moral implications of having a child as my love interest bc i’m physically a child teehee”). If you want to read this, eh. I just can’t suspend my disbelief or stop myself from massaging my temples everytime a panel of the FL and ML comes up basically ringing wedding bells in the background.
