I’m confused. What is Alejandro’s relation to the Emperor and the imperial family? Why transfer the curse to him specifically? If everyone knew that the person with the curse will be the future Emperor, wouldn’t transferring the curse to Alejandro mean he will be the future Emperor? If that’s the case, shouldn’t his parents care more for him if only for his potential power? But instead, they don’t care whether he lives or dies.
