Okay.. so.. I was like.. “Wife?! But they look like siblings, twins even!” But then I remembered that Helene is a royal, born from the 1st empress/queen who was from the same family as the duke(?) so it’s either they’re cousins or distant cousins, whichever. It’s common in that setting of era anyway.
