it might seem unreasonable but from her point of view she is
1 a tool that the emperor is trying to use to cripple her family that has realized her leverage against her
2 a very hard to read person well versed in politics.
being a high ranking noble woman being too trusting would be just stupid….
she has a family to protect but shell probably come around eventually.
