Why do i feel like cordelia is the kid in the picture?? Like what if it’s not a son but a daughter with short hair that’s why they just disappeared. I dont know tho

I’ve always thought from the beginning that Cordelia is somehow related to the lost princess, some descendant. So actually, I’m wondering if her MOTHER was the kid in the picture. We know time flows a bit strangely from their letters and it seems to me that her mother with short hair and not particularly curvy in her figure could pass for male if she wanted to. I’m even wondering if she really died or went back to this other world since they had all been searching so desperately for the lost “son” of the princess. They also keep referencing twelfth knight, and I don’t think the symbolism is unintentional.
