I’m a little disappointed at the big reveal but I’m glad it didn’t require unnecessary chapters just to reach it but still it doesn’t make sense, if they both return to the same time line every time why did he oy save Creed once? And how come he never heard of her even though her last life lasted till 22 she’s well known as an Adopted child. And if he only saved Creed in her 8th life then why did he hear his voice 8 times when it was only once? Annnnnnd and does he always return after her mother leaves him?

We don’t know if he only saved Creed once it is only in her 8th life that Naviah meets him and it is also the only life she lives as long as she did (in fact there is a chance lark never adopted creed but his servants did as he would normally die when Naviah is 9 and she does not7 meet Creed until 22, so he could have ended up in the family after Lark dies explaining why he doesn’t recognize Creed in the bedroom). The reason he returns at 8 is that he used his magic to make u he returns at that time so he can avoid having to kill his mother every time he returns (it haa been implied that the spell on the mansion and the fact he can’t leave is part of that spell, which he is trying to move to when he is 20) He has also never heard of her because he never leaves his mansion and he dies when she is 9 or 10
