I wish I had left this review sooner bc this story deserves better than it’s getting! This story is a hidden GEM that deserves at least a 4.0 rating! I’ll tell you why it’s not but how it actually is! There is one fault to this story = crappy translator for first 50-55 chapters.
I recognize only those with extreme patience/feel like putting up with that will read, but imo it was so worth it! The story isn’t rated badly because the storyline, originality or humor are lacking, but because of a previous translator that never should’ve been hired to begin with. This reminds me of what happened to another story that got similar treatment and bombed thanks to the translator, but got a second chance re-release and massive success. This one just isn’t getting that.
If it hadn’t been for the storyline being interesting the whole way through and keeping me wanting to know what was gonna happen next, I would never had made it through the translator butchering the first 50 chapters! but starting at chapter 55 or so its equal to all the 4.0-4.2 stories I’ve read!
I love this story, it has refreshing plot I haven’t seen anywhere else (and I’ve read well over 100) and characters with unique personalities that are unfortunately not fully displayed to their full potential until later on in the story, unless your brain is capable of picking up on what the crappy translation meant to portray. But I DONT REGRET READING THIS FOR A SECOND

for the crappy translation, i say ALMOST all the stories here in coffeemanga have crappy translations either the entire story or a few chapters in, that’s why the second i see bad translations i try to read it elsewhere
