He’s still wrong to kill Laila though. She literally did nothing but just be part of the family. She didn’t torment him, didn’t hurt him, didn’t even kill him. She was a kid when they met, actual kids, and he killed her in the future just because she’s part of the family. Especially on the fourth return where she was sent to another place and even more has no connection with his suffering. His past gave him a reason to kill the dad, not the kids.
