To be honest, I don’t like this. The husband and stepson do absolutely nothing to help and let the Empress be bullied by the Emporer’s sister. Supposedly, the Emporer is madly in love but he does NOTHING to help his wife other then speaking to his sister. Like dude, your wife is depressed and quite honestly could have eventually unalived herself. She suffered for 10 years. 10 years! The husband is worthless as an Emporer, husband, and as a man. Like damn, grow a backbone. Protect your spouse. She needed you and instead a complete stranger comes to her rescue. Gosh, the whole plot baffles me and makes me angry 😠.

Love this story. And yes i do hope that FL ends up with Crown prince. 1. He not toxic. 2. He is cunning but honest and fair. 3. His mother died early. 4. The Empress is his stepmother. His aunt is his real aunt. 5. Empress was not nice for a long time, that is clearly stated in the beginning of the story. She acted as a spoiled B$tch for almost 10 years. She was not a good stepmother for the young CP. 6. The CP is super handsome:)
Anyway it is a nice story.
