Im getting the idea of the story and the reason behind why duke gave a knife to his daughter..it’s like he wants to reincarnate his daughter everytime she faces the execution for poisoning the princess but I think juvellian didn’t poison the princess instead it was a set up..I think the duke loves his daughter so much but he don’t know how to express his self…nice story author❤️

The dad never hated her, it’s just that he tries more to show his feelings not like in his past life where he totally failed. Tho im also sure that the sword at the end was for smth else and when he said endure it, for me it was like he was gonna get he back and she just had to wait..
I believe he gave her that dagger/sword or something so she could defend herself if ever someone will harm her, and not to kill herself…? She just misunderstood what he meant. I think he was going to save her later on but she was already de*d.
