ooh that’s smart and kind of makes sense cuz he is the dragon slayer (that can be taken so many different ways but in the way im making the connection its the slayer as in killer)
and he’s going to find out eventually and he’s going to have this world shattering revolution that he actually loves her or something like that.
the way that i think it would play out in my head is that something BIG happens to her she becomes a dragon and then he see’s her ( or not and the king asks him to idk kill the dragon going on a rampage) he try’s to but then realizes it’s his bride/wife and then bang ‘wait i love her i can’t do that… wait- i love her????’ shocked ML face
