Just once I’d love a story where the lost princess/prince get found in a situation like this and doesn’t want to be a royal but go back to where they came from. And they fight for all they’re worth to not fight for the throne and win in that fight. They get to live the life they desire which is not one of wealth but one of gentle love and peace.
