He’s so insecure that he constantly thinks she’s trying to run away to the point he is obsessive and controlling in the original. This is only cute because we know he’s not going to turn out that way and it’s all make believe, but if this was real life, it’d be a MAJOR red flag- that answer it for ya? lol
