Gah, sorry! You seem nice, I’m re reading cause I dropped this while it was still updating- lotta hate comments, I get the issue, don’t worry. But it’s cool, this place! And your cool- too, uhm, hope you had a good day! I certainly didn’t but you deserve a nice day! Maybe, as long as your not like my great-uncle. He sucks!
It’s just the translation that makes this awkward. In Korean which is the original language of this manhwa, Oppa and Unnie means older brother and older sister when a girl talks to an older boy or girl. Same goes with Hyung and Noona which is the same terms for a boy who talks with an older boy and girl. Usually you use these terms to familymembers like older siblings, however they can also be used to people you respect. Like Louise who calls Hari Unnie, and Hari who calls Johannes Oppa. They are not siblings, but respect eachother and shows closeness with using the terms. In English you don’t have these terms which will say it’s directly translated in to Brother and Sister. It makes it more intriguing in this manhwa as Hari can use the Term Oppa(brother) to Eugene as a double meaning as an actual brother or as “my boyfriend” or “an older boy I respect dearly”
