I stop reading it. The female lead is pathetic. How can it affect you that a man you never met doesn’t talk to you, or ignores you? She didn’t even know him, it’s not like a crush, or anything. She is weak and she allowed herself to be manipulated by her family, she blames him for not rescuing her, because that is the truth. She broke free because her “captors” died and the nicer “guard” let her go. She never had the strength to leave on her own. She was able to leave home at 18 or 19, look for a job, but no. She reads somewhere that he cheated on her and that becomes an absolute truth. She doesn’t yell at him, she doesn’t question him, she doesn’t confront the source, she runs away, like the coward that she is. Falling in love with him scares her, losing herself scares her. Is it because she doesn’t even know who she is or what she wants? Or because she knows that her will is very weak?
