   Hm. What happened with translation? “His Majesty” is now suddenly “Sire” – which in English is usually used when addressing a king face to face – and the “Queen mother” is now the “Sultana”?

   This latter is one of those tricky words that mean something different in another language. In an English speaking country, “Sultana”, rather than being another word for “Empress”/“Queen”, actually means a small, brown, dried, wrinkly, grape, commonly used in baked desserts and breads. A bit bigger than a current, and smaller than a raisin. It’s really causing confusing images.

   Also, as it’s being used for both “Queen” and “Queen Mother”, using “Sultana” creates confusion about who is being spoken about. Oh, and for the record, “Sire” is more often used in animal husbandry.
