Luca and duke are one person- only luca keeps splitting apart from the duke making him a ‘half’ while duke has the ‘negative’ emotions luca has the ‘positive’ ones making luca a person who has an easier time processing his emotions than the duke- that would explain why the duke has heart problems because his other half isn’t there
I also think that they need her? To be in one form? Besides that i think ‘luca’ has known our fl waaaayyy longer than she knows him, perhaps since she was in the ‘original’ world?
Another thing in the first few ep the duke asked her why she didn’t visit riri? And since that night ‘luca’ has been escorting her as if he’s acting as the duke’s subconscious- something like duke being ‘right brain’ and luca being the ‘left brain’

You really debunked it. Thank you very much. Since my theory was the same. The expressions on his face when Leona said he dislike the Duke and as a person he is incompatible says it all. He felt heartbroken as if she cussed to him instead of the Duke.

…… She might laugh at it or smth but this is monstrous to leave a such a young kid with someone as instable as this guy who’s supposed to be her parental figure, no wonder the kid became messed up when she grew up
He isn’t fit to be a parent, no matter how much he loves her, cps don’t exist here, Leona is the closest thing to a good parental figure to Riri, make sure that kid (the Duke) don’t take that away from her again
