Even if it turned out blondie did kill her parents, it wouldn’t erase the other guy’s crimes of raping, kidnapping, force marrying her, etc. (not that you meant it did). It’s not even happening to me & I’m having trouble just getting through the slides 🙈 with all the atrocities being romanticized

Idk if they’ve got it planned to make blondie into a douche/secret villain in disguise or whatnot, but I feel like that’s exactly the type of twist this story would have to make the toxic dark-haired duke appear more “desirable” in order to turn him into male lead, but that just doesn’t do it for me. There’s no erasing rape, forced marriage, etc. There is no misunderstanding that can change or fix that. It’s a fact he did all that & can’t be put off on anyone else no matter what other kind of twists they come up with. If it turns out this story really is romanticizing rape, kidnap, forced marriage, etc by making him male lead, even if blondie is guilty of other stuff, I’ll be dropping. I’m already having trouble clicking through the chapters and we’re only on chapter 4….. 😅

I see not many people understand that she has been poisoned and he has kept her alive despite being treated like crap. I can’t wait to read more about their back stories bc she has met him before , I’m glad I trusted and kept reading despite the beginning. Look forward to more chapters but a good read is always worth the wait . Both have been victims so far I’m going crazy to reading what’s next.
