Umm…@chickenwings, do remember that this is fiction and the supposed ‘god’ in this story is merely a part of the author’s imagination which was shared with us, so naturally this supposed ‘god’ is flawed and unreasonable, but the true God which is the Almighty Creator, has no flaws, is the most merciful, forgiving and fair.
And honestly, on the matter of ppl saying, if god is omniscient and most loving of all, he should make it so ppl won’t sin in the first place, but if that was done, then we won’t be humans, we would be puppets. Because humans are meant to be flawed and make mistakes, so we could either learn from it, or simply ignore it.
We’re given a choice to do good or bad when tested with hardships, and throughout the journey of our life, he’ll give us clues and opportunities, and what God judge fair and square in the end is every single one of our own choice when faced with trials.
That being said, the fictional god in this manhwa is really quite cruel. And I’m very much sad with Aisha’s repetitively cruel fate haunting her every time she’s reincarnated. Hope she could have a HE with both Hades and Abel.
And author-nim, Atheus? Rlly? You basically just threw away the ‘t’ and the ‘i’, replacing it with ‘u’ from the word atheist😂

@Justapasserby I’m not quite sure which god you’re talking about but I’m assuming it’s the Christian one it’s a really complex topic because not all Christians agree about everything about god, the bible and its meaning. There’s a lot of interpretations what what’s literal and what’s metaphor so I get how you see god as really good.
For me it never made sense how the Christian god could be good. There’s so much unnecessary slaughter and suffering of innocent lives in the Old Testament (the death of the firstborn children from Egypt is one example and the grief their siblings must have felt). To me that’s not a benevolent god. If he was indeed all knowing why not create another system that allowed free will but not need the sacrifice of his son? He could have a way of making people realize what they’ve done wrong and teach them to be better without them needing the blood of his son to wash it away. He doesn’t seem like a gentle father. Even if he does exist, I would not want to follow him or worship him.
Also about the word. I think atheus was some sort of Greek or Latin and not necessarily the author using an English word and replacing letters

God does give us a free will you know? Also Jesus isn’t dead despite the sacrifice he made for the sake of us. It was his choice and went through to washed away all sorrow and sin. He came down to earth to help the sinners, the ill, etc.. this is why there’s so much confusion because he wasn’t there for the good in health. Unlike from this story, this god isn’t merciful at all and not even to his own children. Hade’s past life is right how can he be a father if he let his own children suffer for all eternity? It’s not like the Christian God because Jesus is still up and going and helping out when needed. God gave us the free will to decide our own life whether to follow him or not. He doesn’t punishes but let’s you know in spirit if something’s wrong. It’s on you if you want to listen or ignore it. What’s happening now in life isn’t because of God, but because of humanity’s decision making. One last thing, if he were to fix everything and prevent the stuff we commit then that’s him letting down on their word of ‘free will’ to their creation.

I understand what you mean @Achillea, but if you have a child and you repeatedly find a way to stop that child from doing wrong but no solution had worked. What would you have done if nothing works. Leave the child in the wrong doings? Not everything can be done with sunshine and rainbows.
Why do police use gun when they are on duty, can they use something else, because when they shoot ,the individual that is shot is in between life and death. Sometimes death. Why not change that system to use something less fatal, suppose it was by accident that person would died .
I think most things needs to be ended with blood. Just like Jesus died for our sin, God send is only son. By blood our/my sins are forgiven.

OH! I realizes something ATHEUS is an ATHIEST. ooh a pun but every chapter that I’ve read is making me cry….each new chapter I read gosh I gotta swim in a pool of tears. Here in this story, it is a god who punishes or rather curses his children in every life they are born anew of. the curse is such that Zenos is fated to kill her dear child in every life and Ignis too suffers an ill fate where he is destined to kill his lover. Both don’t deserve that curse from their father as I believe they didn’t commit a sin for a punishment like that. The ‘god’ here does not have equal love for his children like the fact that Procreator is the blessed one while the other two are cursed.
However in CHRISTIANITY, our God loves all equally and looks upon all in love. There are some people who faced God’s punishment for generations but he never made a punished person kill anyone, cause that’s a sin in contrary to the God here. The OT and NT of the Bible is an example of God’s love for us. In the OT, there were many punishments and prices for sins committed especially sin offering or being stoned to death or in particular sacrifices. PUNISHMENTS WERE FOR SINS ONLY.
In the NT though, it’s a new revolution, God loved us so much that He sent His only son to be a sacrifice for all, HE WASHED OUR SINS THAT WAS SO FILTHY WITH HIS BLOOD AND MADE IT AS WHITE AS SNOW.
In the Bible it is clearly stated that God is LOVE!
This story’s god lacks true love in my opinion.
So in conclusion, there is a big and I mean big difference in the two.
