Oh, at least that justifies it, in many other manhwas when someone is adopted it means that they’re destined to marry the biological one. I’m actually also hurt when she said that, Renag was so kind and a gentleman compared to your “brother”. At least he made you comfortable in prison and was actually like a friend to her. Anyways, that justifies his creepy behavior toward his “sister”. That’s just so weird that he keeps calling her sister
