Ok i think i can guess what happened to this family now
Basically, FL was born with a curse or someone put a curse on her.
The emperor and empress try to find a way to break the curse but probably failed.
So the empress want to transfer the curse from FL to herself and i guess the emperor dont agree so she run away with baby FL
She then successfully transfer the curse from FL to herself but in the process it affect FL’s memories
Now FL think the sickly her is the first daughter and healthy her is second daughter when in reality both of them is same body she is the only daughter it was her before and after the curse transfer
