Summary
I Was Told To Die
I was told to die. From colleagues who I have been together with for 10 years.
“I’m sorry, Rin. Die for the world instead.”
Just like that, when it all felt like it was over. ‘…huh?’ Rin opened her eyes again.
“You stupid and even ungrateful girl! It seems obvious that I will be used by another guy, not knowing the grace that brought me to my castle!”
After 30 years, I became an illegitimate child of the great family of Tuslena, who is called the apostle of God!
“You are the best talent. It would be a shame to leave you to rot here. Won’t you come with me?”
Rin looked at the man who held out her hand to her. She is one of the four heroes that the world praises. A man who betrayed her former colleague Rin, wants to adopt her because she resembles his now-dead sword skills.
Are you crazy? Is this an adoption shop for you?

I’m loving the story!!! I especially liked the fl 😊💝

Very meh right off the bat. I have a particularly strong dislike for the plot device that controls what a character says, so it’s not off to a great start. FL’s already have a tendency to be flaky or lacking agency, so nerfing them when they aren’t just annoys me. I might revisit it when there are more chapters to see if it gets betters.
Where are you truck-san
This is really good please update more^^!
NEKOMATA!!!
I’m praying to every god imaginable that the male lead ISN’T the dude on the cover. Actually, IMim HOPING there isn’t one 😭🙏

Obviously not 😭 have you never seen a manhwa cover where there’s only the female lead and her father figure?

Okay, wow. I went into this manhwa expecting the usual “reincarnated heroine fights back” story, but this? This is so much darker, so much heavier, and honestly, I was not prepared. 😭 From the very first chapter, the emotional weight hits hard—our protagonist is betrayed, abandoned, and literally told to die, yet she refuses to go down without a fight. The sheer pain and anger in this story are so intense that I found myself clenching my fists while reading.
The female lead? Incredible. 💔 She starts off broken but slowly builds herself back up, not through some magical revenge plot, but through sheer determination and survival instinct. I love that she isn’t unrealistically overpowered—she struggles, she suffers, she makes mistakes, but she keeps going. And her character development?? So satisfying. Watching her transform from someone who was discarded like trash into a force to be reckoned with is just… chef’s kiss. 👏
The story itself is beautifully tragic. There’s a heavy theme of desperation, betrayal, and reclaiming one’s worth, and every chapter leaves you with this gut-wrenching need to know what happens next. The villains? Absolutely infuriating. 😤 The kind of characters that make you want to throw your phone across the room. But that’s what makes it so good—you genuinely feel the FL’s pain and root for her every step of the way.
Now, let’s talk about the art. STUNNING. 😍 The way emotions are drawn?? Insane. You can feel the despair, the rage, the exhaustion—everything is conveyed so well. The dark tones, the detailed backgrounds, the character expressions—all of it pulls you into the story and makes you feel like you’re suffering with the FL. And don’t even get me started on the dramatic paneling—some scenes hit so hard I had to pause and process. 😭
If I had to nitpick, I’d say this manhwa is not for the faint of heart. It’s heavy, emotional, and there are moments where it feels like things just keep getting worse. But that’s exactly what makes it so powerful. If you love revenge stories with deep emotional stakes, strong character growth, and a protagonist who refuses to be a victim anymore—this is 100% for you. Just be prepared to cry, scream, and lose your mind along the way. 😭🔥💀
