In short shes illegitimate and she has 2 older bros one we haven’t met yet (but is apparently a drunkard from previous chaps) and another who is that brown hair dude who is “nice” but … is a wolf in sheep’s clothing cause he wanted to r word her but she refused and she was shunned by the staff after because the dude is 1 going to war “to save the country” and 2 well he has a reputation for being a nice person.
I think all of them are illegitimate (but im not sure maybe the 2nd son is the only legitimate one since he has brown hair like the countess but from what I remember they didn’t specify)
The dad only accepted her as his child because she was female and could be “sold” off / married into a wealthy family.
The mom (not fls mom but the wife of her dad) is someone who abused the fl and she tries and manipulates her a bit (like the potion for pregnancy and abortion)

@Marmadante they are abusive, all of them. Her dad is a man whore, she’s an illegitimate child and abused by step mom, brother and all maids ignored her and second brother tried to r word her while keeping up a fake image of being a decent human.
