It’s an interesting discussion to have about what counts as more selfish. If she didn’t save Daisy, she’d be selfish for wanting to preserve her secret, but the fact that she’d be ridden with guilt her entire life would make it more… Selfless? Trying to protect herself from feeling that guilt can also be seen as a selfish act. TBH everything you do is selfish, because it’s the decision that your “self” made. Still, a fun thing to think about.
