I think she still wants to die because she feels like she’s just a fake. These people are showing her kindness that she doesn’t deserve because she’s not the real Serena. And if she dies now, there will be people to mourn her, people who will be there for her funeral. She won’t be alone, just like Serena wished.
But I definitely feel like this isn’t the solution. But it’s hard when she still has no will to keep on living.
