Bro I’m ngl I kinda understand why he’s doing this, I mean you ‘took him under your wing’ in order to progress the novels events abd then when you he fails the final ‘test’ you prepared for him, you just go an abandoned him under the guise of ‘freedom’, without knowing how it would effect him. I mean, you can’t really expect someone who dedicated years of his life following the path you laid for him but ultimately abandoned him in the end, to be in the right headspace, especially when he knows that you replaced him with someone whose weaker than him. So I’m taking this as him trying to show you that he(‘s) can be/still is useful, because all he’s know for years is fighting with a goal that you gave him, how do you expect him to respond when you “set him free” into the world, when all he knows is being a tool for others benefits. Answer is simple, he’s gonna find a place where he can be useful again, which in this case, being mixed with his goal of finding “Adrian.”(that we know he accomplished already) Is going to be in a world where you need him and deem him useful again
This is just the way I view it, since it’s just my opinion, I mean no disrespect or anything to others opinions.
