I knew I was right, he’s not obsessed, he just wants to be needed, because he feels that if he’s not needed then he’s nothing, he wants Ariadne to need him because he thinks she considers him worthless/useless, and we already know that he’s so used to being used as a tool, and this chapter proved that he still doesn’t consider himself as anything more than just a “tool” that needs to be beneficial to Ariadne, which Is leaning me more towards my abandonment issue theory, and also that’s a sign of dehumanization, he doesn’t view himself as human but as a mere “Tool” that can be useful to others
(Sorry I’d my words seemed repetitive or anything, and again this is just my opinion/theory)
