so the premise might make you think that this is a story that starts with her running away being pregnant. that is not the case. this is a boiler-plate contract marriage ‘does he like me???’ bullshit story where we’re 28 chapters in and they havent even had sex yet despite the entire plot being about her struggles to get pregnant. this is the most disappointed ive been in a story in a while. why are they wasting so much time on their ‘romance’ when that one line in the preview summed it up perfectly. why are we doing a slowburn when we know that they will have a misunderstanding anyway. just skip to the part you said your story was about, please.

Very disappointing, the prologue was interesting, but the story itself is slow and shallow. I tried to be patient, but the relationship between FL and ML just doesn’t progress at all (currently at chapter 38)

Love the princess & her twin brother. Some people think she’s weak but I disagree, she’s more believable this way. She hasn’t got magic or she isn’t aware of any magical power that she herself possessed, the magic circles drawn on her by her twin, she doesn’t know what they are or how to use them. She was well loved, sheltered & locked away from the real world by her brother. She was physically frail as well then all of a sudden her world as she knew came crashing down without warning. Considering what she had been through & how her life was, I say she’s incredibly strong & determined to live. She doesn’t give up & try to figure out how to save herself despise her naivety. No one is on her side, the ML isn’t some knight in shining armour who’d whisk her away from her issues, he did almost next to nothing while he’s figuring out what he really wants! I still don’t get how she could have feelings for him?
