Knowing about the sketchy business, and the way that he and his son have been acting around grandma, it would not shock me at all if they plan to hasten grandma’s death to squander her inheritance faster. Let’s just hope that grandma found some roundabout way to give everything to Laura. That, or she’s left everything to charity to screw over Gerald and the son.
Thank god Tom Price isn’t a completely hopeless cause. I hate how long it took for him to come around, but at least he did. I still think that it’s a bit much to ask her to come away with him anyway, companion or not, but it’s obvious that he fears for her situation.
