Without wealth and prestige, how can someone from a commoner background meet the imperial Princess?
If he had all the money to himself and was able to buy a title, land that made him very rich, and even discovered a new Artist that would give him a lead into high-society, I could see him catching the Princess’ attention.
But at this rate, while he might still become moderately successful, he will still be a nobody who is not very impressive.
