It’s been a really long time since I read the novel but I’ll try my best.So I think there is some event taking place in the palace and party is in full swing, and that fakeasss bitchh Ellencia tries to bring a commoner rough man who pretends to be Phil’s father. He has brown hair, etc, and he says that he had a relationship with Catherine and he had Phil but he did not take care of her in the past and now regrets it blah blah..not knowing Leguin is there listening to his bullsh*t and trying really hard not to k*ll him. And then Phil gives a really sinister smile to Ellencia and then she asks that commoner really? are you my father? but what if this turns out to be false? will you take the responsibility? etc etc and tries to threaten him subtly in front of everyone. That commoner man is shocked but still goes on with his poor acting. Everyone is watching, and then Philomel says enough and now I will introduce my real father and there comes our handsome daddy Leguin, and everyone is shocked once again. Phil introduces him as owner of mage tower and then they realize that Phil may not be a real princess but she indeed is the most noblest lady in the Empire and the sole daughter of Archmage of the Mage tower. They all tremble in fear realizing that they did not insult a commoner but the only daughter of mage tower’s owner who is known to be vicious and very powerful and is the only being who can clash with Royal Family head on and whom even Royal Family cannot defy! Mwahahahahahahaha!😈😈😈 Then as we all know how nobles are like dogs in these stories, they try butter up Phil, etc. But out Lady doesn’t give two flying ffs!😎

Art style is good. Plot is interesting.
One thing that I’ve noticed is that I don’t feel much emotions while reading this title. Seeing from main character’s perspective, I sympathized constantly tuned down emotions and also felt slight but endless sadness.
The one absurd thing is that nobody ever doubted that Philomel is the emperor’s daughter. Really, they all saw emperor, his wife and Philomel’s mother. This could have better explained the cold emperor’s attitude towards MC.

I put off reading this… but now it’s at ch 57 and honestly? it’s great! for my particular taste I wish she could reconnect with the emperor more, but it really matches the style of thing I like. We are getting into the heart of the mystery now, so I look forward to that… and of course I am loving the brothers

I love to say that this manhwa is really worth it. The art is good and it keeps on improving and we continue with the chapters. And the story is beautiful in it’s own way. As I was reading this, I felt that this story is somewhat similar to “who made me a princess?” Thought I like the story very much so I would say you can read it once. 💖😁
