Summary
Paranoid CEO, Please Let Go
Gu Xiaoran once secretly loved Mo Ziyan—a man as gentle as jade—but he vanished without a trace years ago. Now, to save her ailing father, she’s forced into a marriage with Han Ke. Just when she thought her fate was sealed, the long-lost Mo Ziyan crashes her engagement banquet in a shocking “wedding hijack,” revealing himself as Mo Qing—the cold, powerful head of the Dynasty Group, and the very man responsible for her father’s downfall. What unfolds appears to be the classic tale of a domineering man tormenting his wife. But behind closed doors, who is silently clearing every obstacle in her path? who’s holding whom in the palm of their hand?

Why is this romance? There isn’t even a revenge tagline. Plus from the title that guy is the male lead? And what does he mean by ‘humiliation’? This is definitely some toxic misunderstanding trope. The only way I can justify some of his actions is if it’s the dad that left him a hole as big as what he did since the dad seems to be involved with bad guys. If it’s just some mil or fiancee framing fl then the only ending I’ll be satisfied with is either both leads end up losing (tragedy story) or fl gets the last laugh (success revenge story).
Also, even if you like this, do consider that the raw version also has very little chapters, and there doesn’t seem to be a novel either, so unless this is not just a translated work, you can’t really check if it’s as bad as what I think or not.
