This manhwa is kinda weird. There are so many underlaying sexism in it. Even if the female protagonist is a knight, the male protagonist practically coddle her. Plus what’s the deal with the contract anyway? Like why would the female lead need permission from the male lead to become a knight? Plus on the first day after their marriage, the male lead starts to control what the female lead is wearing. Saying sh*t like I only want you to wear stuff like this when it’s just the two of us or I don’t want other people to see that back of yours. Even at their date to the opera too. Why’s the male lead so controlling? And why does the female lead, who is a knight of 20 yrs, keep listening to him? Their relationship is so toxic and I’m just saying but girl, you need to leave that man.

The reason he coddles her is just because he is protective which is cute and mostly readers like mls being possessive . Again with her clothes it was just some jealousy and obsession that doesn’t makes him manipulative.
