Alright first of all they weren’t official so leah could have still been the duchess and second of all he over thought so much that he thought could he still deserve to see his only lover again and I think we all get that I mean imagine if something similar happened to course you’ll be judged but it’s just things that happened in life and you gotta overcome it somehow duh at least he regretted not going to find and bring them home just imagine his situation the didn’t even know he had a daughter and he found out his only lovers death from the daughter he didn’t even know existed and only just met and his lovers death was coused by stupid brother howed you feel if that happened to you?
