The cover looks pretty

It’s not far in, but it feels very well paced! It’s entertaining, the art is beautiful, and I love the family dynamic: She is the sister of the emperor and grand duke, both of which are grown. Her cousin is the crown prince and the same age as her. It feels very familiar, but also somehow a little different and unique! As of chapter 14, I definitely recommend it!

Ren Ain't Quite Right
I love that it’s obvious (even if it was portrayed subtly) that her brother the emperor felt some level of affection/responsibility for her before the regression. Why else would he refuse the nobles’ outcry to execute her alongside her mother, and send her supplies to keep her alive throughout her exile? I’m also thankful that her brothers are absolute fools for her pretty much immediately. They’re able to quickly set aside their hate for her mother and see her for who she is: an innocent little girl in need of love.
