Seriously! What the hell is this. I’m still confused about their gender. Even a primary school student knows better. I thought it will get better once I move on to the next chapter but it’s getting worse and worse. Do something about it seriously. This is insanely irritating.

i said this in the last chapter but all the concubines shown are male, but the emperor is female and so is the fl. they keep mistranslating the pronouns. i remember someone said it was bc the she and he pronouns in korean are the same/similar but im not very sure because i dont speak it

I agree the translation is really messy. But I think I got a base understatement of the characters. The Emperor is a Female. And they accept female and male concubines. All concubines are Males except the main character which is female. hope this helped!

I read in a comment on another site that the Emperor is a woman and the concubines are all men (with the protagonist being the exception, of course). I know the translation’s confusing, but I hope that helps! ^^

at the beginning the MC said that she entered the reverse harem novel. so the emperor was a woman, and the concubine was a man. but google translate can’t detect if the concubine is a man (it can’t be happen for real, for them) so the sentence that comes out is ladyship, and in korean the pronunciation for male/female is the same. I also don’t know if the translator understands this

Dropping this now. My head hurts trying to understand the translation especially their pronounce. My ADHD ass could never. But regardless, enjoy reading everyone!
