I understand his love for his cello although I never felt that. I remember an artist sang a song dedicated to his piano and even went as far to refer to it as his first love. The love he has for his cello is almost as if it were a human being and her really shifting his attention from the cello means she means a lot to him almost if not more than the cello, which confuses him and maybe soon even scares him.
