So this is my guess. They married in past life, Kaisac had no feelings for Ines. Ines ended up getting sick due to the loveless marriage/not being able to fullfill her role to the Oracle and then died. Thats when Kaisac came to terms on his feelings for Ines then asked for a second chance. Lets see if Im a bit right.
