Divorce is a big step … how about separation to see how you would grow as a person … you know do a little soul searching. Is the divorce for yourself or for Elle? But I sort of understand her though he made her feel unwanted and unwelcome and overall insecure about herself and their relationship of the past life. I get him too because he finally sees the damage that he did by his own hand. He literally broke her. Yeah, she is starting to stand up herself and that’s good but I feel like she’s becoming too dependent on having Elle as her chance to move forward. While its nice seeing Ed make an effort to protect her and his son it’s just it kind of feels like he’s rushing into it on a blindside which never works if you have already made a mark that made everyone starting to criticize her and their relationship as a whole – not to mention he did make a wish to meet her again at her most loneliness. But she’s not fragile nor made of glass or should be used for redemption. I’m going to remain neutral on this front because both are making a stand and making a choice to move forward; however, I think separation is a better choice then allow each other a month of closeness to see where it goes from there – if divorce is something that must be done on the long term in the future then YES go for it. But I want to see some relearning on each other and both making the effort of not looking in the past but the future. Elle needs his parents to be on the same page and mutual understanding of each other.
