Summary
The East Wind of the Altas
The people of Genevu always pay their debts. So when peasant girl Claire throws herself under Marquess Balt Morenheitz’s favorite horse, forcing him to kill the animal to save her life, she must repay him by spending a night in his bed. But Balt isn’t satisfied with just one night and moves Claire and her family to live at his palace so that she can “service” him whenever he pleases. However, Claire may end up paying Balt back more than he could’ve imagined… because Claire isn’t quite the simple peasant girl she appears to be. As Balt becomes increasingly embroiled in the empire’s political mayhem, Claire’s true identity will become a deciding factor in his success, or else a catalyst for his downfall. Whichever it may be, Claire will be sure to repay her debt before she leaves!

First I was sceptical about it but now I am loving it. 🍬❤️
For the people that just started reading it – expect the unexpected. By the time you go more deeper and further in the manhwa you will get tangled in wanting to read more and more. At least that was for me✌️

What a story, I must say. I read it out of curiosity, and intrigued I was. Saddened that only to chapter 65 able to read I was. Thy must prepare thyself for what’s to come.
A truly monstrous marquess (coming from Old French, ‘marquis’ meaning a protector of the borderlands) whose life changes the instant he taken in a seemingly unlucky lady, after saving her in a truly unexpected way. However he might not be the only one in luck.
The story follows the marquess and the young mysterious lady, as they discover more about each other, deepening their relationship and unveiling the true face of the nation they are residing in. I promise the padawans of today, this story is not as it seems and will surely make your heart pound, as it did mine. If a rating was asked of me, I would say that in the trifecta of characters/worldbuilding/plot, a strong seven on all it would score, since it truly captivates ones heart. A rough start this story has and a rollercoaster is stays, until the end, it seems, a story worth indulging yourself in.

To summarize. I like how dark and twisted both of the character, humor and the plot itself. That’s not normal I think. 🤫🤭

At the current pastes chapter 71. I’m glad I stuck with it as Fl Claire gets stronger and her motives are revealed and the ml becomes kinder.
