I’m surprised this doesn’t have many readers or high votes. I like it a lot. I don’t know what I expected, but it wasn’t this. It’s made me laugh and cry. It starts off lighthearted and gets rather serious as the FL grows independent and the story unfolds. Not your typical go-happy second chance at life story.

HORRIBLE START!
Super serious later and a lot of the build of pays off., but still MAJOR pacing issues with entire half of chapters for just for one off side characters talking about stuff.

This was deep and heavy, there was a line of tears in my eyes that I can’t cry because I didn’t want to miss a word.
Precious love when too much hurt, and not all forms of love are good. But I couldn’t help but cheer on their fragile and clumsy way of love, even though it was gruesome and horrifying and cold. Maybe one or two more chapters left but 10/10 recommend.
