Uh… What is even happening. Why would you put flowers that mean reconciliation on someone’s grave if you didn’t have a fight with them?

More importantly, since the MC transmigrated into the novel, we haven’t actually seen much of the “abuse” that was talked about. Sure, there was neglect and telling her not to do stuff, but we haven’t seen any actual abuse for her to get that angry at? If she calls that abuse, then they should have explicitly shown her experiencing it so we could understand why she is getting frustrated. It isn’t like she personally experienced the suffering from the novel or the events before she entered the body. There are other novels which develop and show mistreatment from the other adoptive families better and often have a physical component.

The level of abuse the MC is experiencing right now is negligible. She is really only being neglected by them. Those aren’t really abuse since she is still eating with them, being given necessities (bad clothes), has her own personal servant, can leave whenever she wants, and has her own personal servant. The stepmother hasn’t even really said anything bad since she met with the prince since she wants to marry the MC off and the stepsister is the main instigator. The MC doesn’t have to follow her words since they are sisters, though? The stepsister is barely above the level of a tsundere, let alone a third-rate villainess. I am just saying, if the author wants us to empathize with her hatred of the stepmother and stepsister, they need to show us more of the abuse that she is talking about so we can understand.

I think the fl got ahead of the worst of the abuse since she placed herself in the eyes of the Imperial family.
Ever since the prince came to visit and saw her walking around healthy and mentally sound, and then she even went to the palace and met the Emperor, its much more difficult for them to get away with any kind of abuse that would leave marks.
Also, don’t forget that she was just almost killed by her stepsister by being pushed down the stairs, and the mother is certain that she’s beaten down the fl enough that she can’t even think about rebelling.
I do agree that its kinda wired, that at present, we’re not really seeing much villainy from the stepfam – apart from petty bs I got worse of from my own stereotypically b***** stepmother and her bratty young daughter. They seem like a minor inconvenience rather than a legitimate adversary in the plot.
