So basically what i can understand from this is that ranon hates his children but has an obsessive type of love for aina. The translators missed a chapter before this and im not sure what happens in it but arthur does appear. In this chap ranon kills arthur and meets “aina”. Apparently she is possessed by fate maybe?? Not too sure but this “fate” convinces ranon to make his second wish which is the golden blessing by telling him that in ainas destiny she will die at the hands of her own child. Ranon in a desperate attempt to save aina from this thing possessing her sends an army to attack her home village. (???i think?) the elder from the village uses sorcery to learn that ranon has made his second wish and the villagers trying to save aina maybe start a ritual of sorts and open the box given to them by fate in the begining of the side story. But apprently they were attacked and killed before it could be completed which i believe is a hint that in the current time that will be how rosentine will save aina from being trapped.
