What did almost being forced to marry someone he didn’t love suddenly make him wake up to how his brother felt all these years and see everything in a new light? Or what! lol. That’d be a bit extreme- just suddenly, and way delayed

Or did he understand all a long and he was really just mad/upset/hurt he felt abandoned by his brother and all the responsibilities dumped on him, and he was taking that out on her- not cause he actually cared she was illegitimate all this time. Kinda like you can tell his son does care but always acts like an immature little nitwit cause he doesn’t know how to express himself.

-his brother that he clearly admired. Orrrr another thought crossed my mind I almost didn’t share- did he just use her to get out of that situation and he’s gonna go right back to not caring once the show is over? Please let it be the formers.
