LOVE IT 🤩
Fireheart
This is a very cute story. It gives me a little heartache due to her illness, but otherwise I love it.

When you bring together a sick, introverted girl who sees no hope in her future and a super extroverted and dedicated guy who seeks various ways to improve the well-being of the girl he likes, you create this manhwa. It’s very good, the art is beautiful and I’m looking forward to the development of this story!!!!

About fl
Arel is the eldest daughter and heir to the prestigious Duke of Halbern, one of the five most powerful noble families in the Albrecht Empire. At six years old, she suddenly regains memories of past life and realizes she’s been reincarnated into a novel as a terminally ill side character who dies early in the story. She and her family, were essentially background characters in the original novel.
Arel remains distrustful of her surroundings because of her past life. Becoming a musician to solely fulfill her mother’s expectations and dreams, Arel lived under immense pressure and was extremely lonely in her past life. Eventually, she died at a young age and her soul ended up in the body of the young Arel.
The story explores Arel overcoming her past life’s trauma with the help of Methion (mother-like figure despite being a guy), childcare specialists (group formed by Methion for Arel’s health and wellbeing), and, essentially, the male lead.

About ml
After reading some reviews and the manhwa, ML (Pession) is undeniably a happy and blessed child. He has a loving relationship with his mother, the empress, and his parents actually…love each other?! its been AGES since i last saw a stable and happy ML, making this manhwa one of my most anticipated read yet. usually, the MLs are all sad and broody, but the ML in this story is the ACTUAL opposite!
the FL (Arel), on the other hand, has a REALLY sad background. she, unfortunately, got all the bad luck/tropes: (1) presumably dead mother, (2) neglectful father, (3) mommy issues from her past life, AND (4) terminal illness. i know this isnt the first time we are seeing a FL with a terminal illness, however, it has undeniably been a while since we last saw a pessimistic FL with a terminal illness.
therefore, the usual “FL has a terminal illness but its alright because a cure will be found in the future, so let’s focus on my relationship with the ML and the novel!” trope is nonexistent. rather, the FL is extremely pessimistic, nearly embracing the fact she’s gonna die, and the ML is the one initiating a connection.
Moving on, there seem to be a lot of unknown variables, such as:
1. who is the female lead’s mother? What is the relationship between the female lead’s mother and the male lead’s mother?
2. Where is the father, and why did he leave the female lead alone?
3. Who exactly is her family, and why were their special abilities and political affiliations left unexplained in the novel, when all the other ducal families had theirs clearly defined?
anyways this story seems promising so i cant wait for more chapters!
…
The main character, Arellyn, realizes at the age of six that she has reincarnated as an extra in a novel.
When she finds out who she has become, she realizes she’s a terminally ill extra who dies early in the story due to an incurable disease — and that’s how the story begins.
It might sound heavy at first, but the overall tone isn’t too dark, thanks to the male lead candidate who’s been focused on the heroine’s health since episode 1.
The protagonist knows she’s terminally ill, and her physical condition is actually very poor, to the point of being close to malnourished.
However, with people like the Grand Duke’s successor, Methion, who used to be her guardian, and others like her adoptive father Valere (not her biological dad), she begins to be surrounded by people who care for her — and the heroine slowly starts to change.
Especially when the heroine’s past life briefly appeared in the beginning, it really made me feel sad.
But seeing her slowly heal from that pain, even if just a little, makes me want to cheer her on as I read!
In her past life, the heroine tried to fulfill her mother’s dream but ended up failing and being abused.
Eventually, she wandered aimlessly and died in a car accident, and was then reincarnated into a character from the novel.
Due to the trauma caused by her mother, she’s unable to trust people easily.
But now, she’s starting to heal as she gets closer to Methion and others around her.
Methion even affectionately calls her “Arel” and treats her like a daughter, both emotionally and in how he cares for her.
Even though he’s a man, he acts like a mother and takes good care of Arel.
Although Arel’s condition is gradually improving, her illness still hasn’t been fundamentally cured.
It’s still unclear what disease it is or whether it’s curable — nothing specific has been revealed yet.
But the male lead candidate, Pession, is having her work out diligently to help build her strength!
The eldest daughter and heiress of the Duke of Halbern — one of the five great duchy families of the Albrecht Empire.
That’s our heroine, Arel.
One day, Archduke Halbern suddenly appears and becomes the young successor of the duke’s family.
He’s also a childhood friend of the crown prince and enters the imperial palace alongside him.
But when it comes to Arel, she’s described as: “The only flaw in the perfect Archduke Halbern.”
That’s when she realizes — she’s been reincarnated into a novel.
And her character in that story, Arelin, is…
“Just an extra.”
“A side character.”
“One who dies early.”
Yep, that’s right.
Arel was nothing more than a minor side character — the crown prince’s childhood friend with zero presence — and she dies at the start of the story.
That’s who our heroine is.
And maybe it’s because of that fate, but the male lead’s obsession begins.
Except… it’s not about love — it’s about her health.
“Arel, I went through so much trouble to get this medicine, and you’re not even going to drink it?”
“Arel, I heard you fainted again yesterday?! I told you to stay healthy! Who gave you permission to get sick?!”
Yes, that obsessive guy is our male lead, Pession.
But his obsession doesn’t stop there.
“Did you do your aerobics?”
…That line sounds more like it’s coming from a personal trainer than a love interest.
“When you’re done, let’s go out and work out together!”
“Once you get better, we’re going hiking and monster hunting, got it, Arel?”
And so begins this rather unusual type of obsession.
As I mentioned, the plot is simple:
Pession is obsessed with Arel’s health.
But the direction of that obsession is… really weird.
“Did you do your aerobics?”
“Did you do your aerobics?”
“Did you do your aerobics?”
I’ve read a lot of romance web novels, but I’ve never seen a male lead so concerned with whether the heroine did her aerobics.
The further you read, the more hilarious his lines get.
It’s one of those stories where the male lead’s serious attitude ends up making you laugh — in a good way!

CUTEEE CUTEE CUTE!!!! DEF GO READ IT!

The abandonment issue here is so strong and FL definitely has one of the normal reactions as someone who tried to get used to it. It’s kinda frustrating to see how people easily go with the cheerful kid’s idea and brushed off the quieter one’s will. I can kinda understand FL’s feeling that it made my heart aches.
Anyway it has very beautiful drawing, reminds me of “A Fortune-Telling Princess” maybe they have same artist. And the story flows nicely. Give it a read 🙂
