I would’ve read this before, but its just stupid. She had a knife on her and just watched her (basically) big sister, get beat to death in front of her. After that she knew what would happen if the priest found out and still didnt try to kill him. It just makes no sense for me

I understand where you’re coming from, but we are talking about killing a human being. Also she has the power to save Noel and has been beat by the high
first since birth so trauma had a big part of her fear to kill.

Honestly imagine the dichotomy of being so religious that you refuse to save yourself (and the chance that it might save an actual Divine being, for their benefit) that you refuse to escape with them and help them because of your beliefs.
