I don’t hate the ML. It’s always these types of people who are so quick to hate- his reasons are justifiable. If you were cursed and to die soon, and life feels so dull and meaningless to you, would you not try to find anything to distract or occupy from that void? You can easily equate this to depression, and if I was him in this situation I would probably do the same thing. He feels life is meaninglessness, so how are you gonna expect to find any value or meaning in others as well. He is not a bad person, he just needs help and time to change and grow.
