I like the story, but I really despise authors who force everything in the main character, not giving them choice and even making them end up with the same person who also caused their misery and death.

So even if we hope for a happy ending, there won’t be. FL will end up forgiving the ML cuz he was probably manipulated or misunderstood or something something reason something, and she will never get her happy ending outside of the main events, like living in a neighbour country and finding her true love there that didn’t make her first life miserable.

Yeah some characters don’t deserve second chance. He left her dying poisoned and starved to death and abandoned her 3 years but the FL should miraculously forgive him forgetting all the angst she went through 💔
