Her sister 100% lacks the ability of self-preservation, maybe it’s because I grew up very poor, but at the same time it’s really hard to even fathom someone that is completely oblivious to the Idea of self-preservation. Even princess Iris was willing to let her status fall a small amount for the self-preservation of her family, but for mielle that has just not ever occurred to her at all. It’s like she was born on third base and has literally no concept of the world other than third base to home. That one stretch of life is all that exists to her. Even the thought process of her sister being the daughter of Marquis, and of Royal blood would not deter her in any way of believing she is somebody that is ” Noble enough” to ever besmirch her hands with actual work.
